GlobeQuest Travel Club wants each and every Hawaiian vacation to be just as imagined. The planning process starts with choosing the island or islands to be visited. Each island has something unique to offer.
Kauai is the oldest island in the chain and is the farthest north. It boasts a dramatic and natural beauty, making it perfect for outdoor adventures and romantic getaways. A few of the places to visit include the towering cliffs off the Napali Coast, the Waimea Canyon, often referred to as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’, and the Wilula River, the state’s only navigable river.
The capital of city of Honolulu is located on the island of Oahu, along with most of the population. It’s a great mix of natural wonders and modern arts and amenities. There are surfers along the North Shore just like imagined. Other fun spots to visit include Waikiki, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve and the historic memorial at Pearl Harbor, which is the biggest attraction. Over 1.8 million people visit the Memorial each year. To beat the crowds, GlobeQuest Travel Club recommends getting their early, the park opens at 7:30am.
Hawaii Island is the largest of the island and often referred to as the Big Island. It’s large enough to have sandy beaches and snowcapped mountains. There are waterfalls, rainforests and botanical gardens in Hilo, beautiful water off of Kona Beach, and one of the world’s most active volcanoes, Kilauea. XYZ Travel Club and the locals of Hawaii Island recommend exploring Downtown Hilo as well as taking a trip to the coffee plantations and enjoying a great cup of Kona coffee.
GlobeQuest Travel Club encourages vacationers to consider these islands, as well as Maui, Lanai, and Molokai, when making vacation plans.
